Problem Gambling Foundation Willing to Maintain Helpline
The recent announcement about closure of Gambling Helpline has deeply upset the Problem Gambling Foundation. John Stansfield, Foundation CEO stated that those suffering from gambling addiction are in great necessity of available telephone help at any time. He went on to add that the Foundation will do its best to provide telephone referral service in future.
People having gambling problems cause a lot of stress to their families and ought to seek responsible help. The foundation insists that those who feel unstable about gambling should seek help since addictive gambling could be successfully treated.
Gambling Helpline was initially launched by the Foundation; however in the course of time it was split off, says Stansfield. The Foundation is still inclined to keep the telephone number and provide help for all needy.
